Genshi influence has teamed up with McDonald’s to offer fans exciting in-game rewards as part of the new collaboration.
Chinese developer miHoYo’s free-to-play RPG has been no stranger to hanging out with some of the world’s biggest brands, boasting over 60 million players since launch.
Peli’s previous collaborations have been Domino, Cadillac and Samsung to name a few.
Genshin Impact McDonald’s collaboration revealed
A free-to-play RPG Genshi influence and McDonald’s have announced a new partnership for players to enjoy in-game.
The partnership between the hugely popular open world game and the fast food giant was announced on the game’s various social channels.
It brings users a new mission that offers special in-game rewards for those who complete certain in-game parameters.
Starting Tuesday, September 17, fans can redeem codes for select McDonald’s menu items ordered through the McDonald’s app for these unique digital treats.
Fans who purchase Apple Pie can treat themselves to a special game pack that includes a custom recipe + Golden Apple Party (x3), 40 Primogems, two Hero’s Wits, 20,000 Moras, and four Mystic Enhancement Ores.
Other special offers can be earned by purchasing a McCrispy Deluxe combo meal. Claiming this prize earns the player a unique Wind Glider and a hamburger/McDonald’s themed name card.
It’s worth noting that this collaboration is currently only available in the US, and no international details have been announced.
How to claim Genshin Impact / McDonald’s Rewards?
Awards Genshi influence/McDonald’s collaboration can be redeemed (and earned) anytime between Tuesday, September 17th and Sunday, September 29th.
Here are the steps to claim the in-game rewards, according to the game’s official Twitter page:
- To earn rewards, users must download and order certain menu items from the McDonald’s app after registering as a McDonald’s Rewards member.
- Once you’re in the app and registered, all you have to do is tap Genshin cooperation banner and select the menu items that interest them.
- From there, the official code for the title’s in-game rewards is sent to the email of the McDonald’s Reward account that placed the order.
- With the code in hand, all you have to do is open Genshi influence app to the platform of your choice and enter the 12-digit key.
Rewards can only be claimed once per user per menu item, and digital goodies are only visible to players who have earned at least Adventure Rank 2 in the game.
Genshi influence is now available for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.
