Casting is announced as Arthur Miller’s searing family drama The Price comes to Marylebone Theatre in a powerful new staging from Olivier Award-nominated director Jonathan Munby.

Henry Goodman leads the cast as Gregory Solomon. He is joined by Faye Castelow as Esther Franz, Elliot Cowan as Victor Franz and John Hopkins as Walter Franz.

The story follows two estranged brothers who reunite in their late father’s cluttered attic to sell his possessions. What begins as a simple transaction unravels into a fierce emotional reckoning, as decades of resentment, sacrifice and buried truths erupt into the open.

Darkly funny and deeply human, The Price remains one of Miller’s most intimate and explosive portrayals of family conflict, exploring memory, regret and emotional inheritance.

The creative team includes designer Jon Bausor, lighting designer Anna Watson, sound designer Max Pappenheim, casting director Helena Palmer CDG and associate director Eleanor Taylor.

Speaking about joining the production, Henry Goodman said, “Arthur Miller has an extraordinary ability to illuminate the private lives of families with honesty and humanity. The Price is a play I’ve long admired, so to play the life-enhancing Gregory Solomon is a gift. I’m thrilled to be returning to his work with Jonathan Munby at the Marylebone Theatre.”

The Price is produced by Marylebone Theatre, Patrick Myles and David Luff, Alexander ‘Sandy’ Marshall, in association with Anthology Theatre and Tulchin Bartner Productions.
