Kiln Theatre has announced the full cast and creative team for the world premiere of Please Please Mewritten by Tom Wright and directed by Kiln Artistic Director Amit Sharma. The production has been extended by popular demand and will now run from 16 April to 29 May, with press night on Thursday 23 April at 7pm.
Amit Sharma will direct Calam Lynch as Brian, Noah Ritter as John, William Robinson as Peter and Mike, Arthur Wilson as Geoffrey and Harry, and Eleanor Worthington‑Cox as Cynthia and Cilla. The play explores the hidden struggles of Brian Epstein, the gay music entrepreneur often referred to as the “Fifth Beatle”.
The creative team includes Tom Wright as writer, Amit Sharma as director, Tom Piper as set and co‑costume designer, Deborah Andrews as co‑costume designer, Rory Beaton as lighting designer, David Shrubsole as composer and sound designer, Jess Williams as movement director and Amy Ball CDG as casting director. Chris Simpson joins as associate sound designer and production sound engineer, with Hetty Hodgson as assistant director, Pam Nichol as production manager and Sharon Pearson as wigs, hair and make‑up supervisor.

Please Please Me follows Brian Epstein’s discovery of The Beatles and his drive to transform them into a global phenomenon. Beyond their rise to fame, the play delves into Epstein’s private battles, exploring themes of ambition, identity and unspoken longing.
