Cult restaurant Freak Scene has recruited a new operations manager as it celebrates its first anniversary of trading in Parsons Green, Fulham.

Freak Scene Restaurant Group has welcomed Alexis Ross to its management team as the new Director of Operations.

Ross brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served as a long-term managing director under Russell Norman at Polpo, where he also helped launch Farringdon’s Brutto site. He then managed operations at Zetter Townhouse and Zobler’s at The Ned.

Scott Hallsworth, former head chef at Nobu London and creator of izakaya concept Kurobuta, founded Freak Scene, which boasts pan-Asian cuisine and a punk rock vibe.

Celebrating a year at Parsons Green also marks 10 years since Scott Hallsworth transformed King’s Road dining with Kurobuta.

What started as a pop-up store, Kurobuta became a permanent fixture at Chelsea. Parsons Green’s Freak Scene represents Kurobuta’s development.

Freak Scene’s first anniversary in Parsons Green marks the continued evolution of its menu, featuring signature dishes such as Tuna Sashimi Pizza, Crab Wonton Bombs and Jerusalem Artichoke Chopsticks, as well as new gluten-free and vegan options.
