Multi-Grammy award-winning rock band, The Black Keys, are set to perform at Manchester’s Co-op Live during its opening week this April.

Labelled “one of the best rock ‘n’ roll bands on the planet” by Uncut, the acclaimed duo are preparing to release their twelfth studio album, ‘Ohio Players’, on April 5 – just two weeks before taking to the stage at Co-op Live. The record features collaborations with friends and colleagues including Beck, Noel Gallagher, Greg Kurstin, Dan “The Automator” Nakamura and more.

Peter Kay – Co-op Live, Manchester

April 23 and 24, 2024



Peter Kay has announced an additional date at Co-op Live due to phenomenal demand. The legendary comedian will open Manchester’s state-of-the-art venue with his current record-breaking tour when it first welcomes fans in April.

The 23,500-seat arena is the largest in the UK and will offer an unparalleled fan experience that will set a new benchmark for large venues around the world.

Peter will perform at Co-op Live on April 23 and 24, 2024 to kickstart a new chapter in the city’s revered cultural story, having delighted fans across the UK for well over two decades as one of most successful stand-up comedians of all time.

The Libertines – Albert Hall, Manchester

The Killers – Co-op Live, Manchester

June 18, 19, 21 and 22, 2024



The Killers have announced details of a UK and Ireland tour in summer 2024, to celebrate the release of their brand new compilation album ‘Rebel Diamonds’ – out now. The Rebel Diamonds tour will celebrate the band’s 20 years of hits in a series of arena shows.

The new dates are the first time The Killers have played arena shows in the UK since 2017’s ‘Wonderful Wonderful’ tour, and follow the band’s most recent stadium tour, which saw them play to 400,000 fans at sold-out shows including two euphoric nights at London’s Emirates Stadium in June 2022, and last year’s standout headline shows at Reading and Leeds Festivals.

The Movielife – Club Academy, Manchester

To celebrate 21 years of the album, ‘Forty Hour Train Back to Penn’, The Movielife are returning to the UK this month for three special shows.

Formed in Long Island in 1997, pop-punk band The Movielife – comprised of members Vinnie Caruana, Brandon Reilly and Brett Romnes – gained huge success after self-releasing the EP ‘It’s Go Time’ in 1999. The record propelled them into an extensive touring period of their own, as well as joining New Found Glory and Glassjaw on the road.

David Essex – The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester

Internationally renowned singer, composer and actor David Essex OBE is heading out on a massive 20-date UK tour this August and September. The tour, his first since 2022, will see him perform much-loved hits spanning over his entire repertoire.

David first shot to fame when he went to an audition for the London production of the musical ‘Godspell’ and was chosen by enthusiastic US producers for the role of Jesus. He received major awards and some ecstatic reviews which saw him lead a cast at the Roundhouse and then at the West End for two years.

Since then, David Essex has enjoyed a remarkable career that has combined concerts, records, theatre, composing, films and television with striking success.
