Fortnite players have admitted they didn’t buy the new TMNT emote just because of the song. Here’s what they said.

The TMNT collaboration with Fortnite made some interesting additions to the game, including new items, weapons, quests and also skins from the popular franchise.

Players can now also enjoy many new TMNT emotes from mini Battle Pass which presents different positions for the main characters.

Featuring the iconic TMNT car, the traversal emote lets players move while the music blares in the background.

However, some players admitted that they were not fans of this emote due to the “terrible” song associated with it.

The music ruins this feeling for me. Has anyone bought the Lil’ Turtle Van? I like emotes, but I refuse to give money to the guy who made that horrible song. What do you think ? by u/Ricebandit469 in FortNiteBR

“The music ruins this feeling for me. Has anyone bought the Lil’ Turtle Van? I like the emote, but I refuse to give money to the guy who made that horrible song,” one user said in a Reddit thread before asking what others thought emote.

Other players quickly flocked to this thread, and the majority of them agreed with the OP. While some players thought the emote was cool, they didn’t buy it just because of the song.

One person even went so far as to say, “Yeah, it’s that bad. It’s like they just asked a random SoundCloud rapper to come and do it all at once.

Meanwhile, another person said: “I feel you dude, the emote is cool but this song is giving me ear cancer.” I prefer save me V-bucks for something else.

Another user claimed the song sounded like something people would hear in an episode of Rick and Morty, to which another responded: “Instead of it being meant to be bad, they’re actually selling it.” »

Overall, the community doesn’t seem particularly keen on “copying” the emote, although some players have said they’d like the song if the option to turn off vocal tracks was available.
