While you’re probably off out enjoying the plethora of outdoor shows on our doorsteps in London this summer, you must remember that the plans for next summer also need booking up.
As Bicep prepare to play Finsbury Park tonight (August 2), Fontaines D.C. have gone ahead and announced their biggest-ever headline show on the same stage for next year. They’ll take to the stage on July 5, 2025, with support from Amyl And The Sniffers and Kneecap.
And given the fact it’s their biggest show yetthe Irish post-punk rockers went ahead and filmed a special announcement video, which you can check out below!
It comes after a triumphant headline slot at Glastonbury Festival in Juneas they took to the headline slot at the Park Stage. Their fourth album, titled Romanceis also dropping later this month (August 23), and the band will play a full UK & Ireland tour in November and December 2024.
When are tickets on sale for Fontaines D.C. at Finsbury Park?
A pre-sale for Fontaines D.C. at Finsbury Park begins via their webstore at 10am on Wednesday, August 7. Following this, the general sale begins a week today on Friday, August 9. You can find tickets here, where you’ll also be able to register for pre-sale access. Anyone who pre-orders Romance in any format will also gain exclusive access to tickets (but you must have done so from their store before 2pm on August 6). Let the games begin.
On top of Australian punk band Amyl And The Sniffers’ electric live show and exciting Belfast punk rap group Kneecap (who also enjoyed a slot at this year’s Glastonbury Festival), there are more artist to be announced as part of the day-long event next year.
Fontaines D.C. play Finsbury Park on July 5, 2025, with tickets going on general sale on August 9, 2024.
