A new location is opening in the heart of a historic part of Camden this summer. Officially launching on Friday 5th July, Camden Courtyard is the latest venture from the Electric Ballroom owners.

The 300-capacity outdoor venue is being built on newly reclaimed land behind the Electric Ballroom on Kentish Town Road. It will offer an eclectic music program with day parties, DJs, themed brunches and boast a Martin Audio sound system

Kate Fuller, one of the owners of the Electric Ballroom, said: “For the best part of a century, the Electric Ballroom has been a venue that showcases the most exciting musical movements and Camden Courtyard is the next step in our history. The venue will offer something new for Camden, an area that has surprisingly few outdoor places to drink, eat and dance.

“We’re working with a great selection of forward-thinking promoters, DJs and food and drink brands and we can’t wait to welcome new faces and regulars alike.”

Now ready for an epic summer, Camden Courtyard has been fitted with a premium Martin Audio sound system – which can be covered so the weather doesn’t spoil things. On the music front, a mix of artists, DJs, bands and brands have been carefully curated, including house and techno specialists FreeFromSleep, garage dogs UKG Brunch, eclectic Midnight Runners, deep, progressive and melodic team Colorize and underground band Ketoloco, who get the party started .

And to keep you full, street food pioneers Pizza & Dumplings, known across the capital for their wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas and hearty Gyozo dumplings, will be serving up delicious dishes. Wray & Nephew will also be on hand to serve rum-glazed cocktails.

Add to that classics like Aperol Spritz, Pimm’s cocktails, pitchers and an extensive beer, wine and cocktail list. In short, everything has been done to ensure you have everything you need to escape city life.
