Set in London in 1968, the play follows Garland as she prepares for a series of concerts at the Talk of the Town. While adored by audiences, she faces intense personal struggles behind the scenes as the pressure to perform takes its toll.
Blending music, drama and some of Garland’s most unforgettable songs, End of the Rainbow depicts the legendary performer in the final chapter of her life. The play pulls back the curtain on Hollywood’s sweetheart to reveal the human story behind the icon.
The production is directed by Rupert Hands, with musical supervision and orchestration by Leo Munby and musical direction by Nick Barstow.
The creative team also includes movement director Fabian Aloise, lighting designer Prema Mehta, sound designer Tony Gayle, set and costume designer Jasmine Swan, wig, hair and make-up designer Dominique Martin, and dialect coach Rebecca Daltry.
