A holiday park on the coast of France is cheaper than Center Parcs, and the weather is better too. Les Pierres Couchees, a Siblu holiday park in Brittany, is part of their summer holiday sale.

Center Parcs holidays currently start at £499, while a trip to Les Pierres Couchees starts at £481 for August trips. Les Pierres Couchees is located on the southern edge of Brittany, and the village is five minutes from the sea.

A further 15 minutes’ walk away is the charming village of Saint-Brevin-Les-Pins. But you’d be forgiven for not visiting it; Les Pierres Couchees has lots of activities on site.

There is a pool complex with an outdoor pool, paddling pool and water slides, as well as entertainment for children. The holiday village has four stars, with reviewers leaving 7.8 stars out of 10 on the Siblu website.

“I recommend this park,” said one traveler, “very homey feeling.” Another wrote “We had a great vacation. Especially the pool area was fun and the evening activities were incredible. The whole campground is amazing.” The weather in Saint-Brevin-Les-Pins also promises greatness; temperatures average 24C, with only a 15 per cent chance of rain throughout the month.

Siblu also has many other holiday parks. They are all over France, and there are even five in the Netherlands: Spring in Drenthe, Lauwersoog, Meerwijck, The Oasis, and In Bongerd.

There are also several parks on the Mediterranean coast. The Marisol is cheapest, with prices starting at £132 for three nights in May. It is 250 meters from the beach and has two pools, a water slide, a lazy river, a wellness center and two restaurants.
