Nicole Young became the new villain Sunset for sale season 8 and even took his role too far when he claimed that Emma Hernan had an affair with a married man, which ruined his reputation. Sunset for sale follows the lives of real estate agents at the luxury real estate firm in Los Angeles, the Oppenheim Group. Emma joined the series during its fourth installment and has been an integral part of the show.
It was after the Oppenheim brothers helped her buy her house and inspired Emma to pursue a career in real estate. Emma is also an entrepreneur who runs her own plant-based company that sells empanadas. Despite the fact that he is good at his job and has received considerable income from his real estate business, Sunset for sale season 8 was different for Emma, whose sales skills were not covered much. Instead the series focused on Emma’s alleged cheating scandalrisking his career.
Cheating rumors are damaging Emma Hernan’s reputation
At the beginning of Sunset for sale season 8, Mary Fitzgerald had stated that Chelsea Lazkani was the greatest “pot stirrer” from Group O, but she was far from the truth. Nicole earned this title after spreading a rumor about Emma’s affair with a married man. The conversation started when Alanna Gold, the town’s newbie, took some of the O girls to the town she owns – Pioneertown. Happily married to Adam Gold, Alanna was curious about everyone’s relationship. When it was revealed that Emma was single, Nicole was quick to throw some shade.
“Emma single? I never know with her. If she is single or dating someone… I heard that from a source. I wish I didn’t know. It involves Emma and that’s all I want to say (…) It’s just information, which you know could really affect families, marriages and Emma’s reputation.”
Despite Amanza Smith’s warnings to leave it, Nicole continued. However, this wasn’t the only time Nicole discussed these claims. During selling sunset in the season 8 finale, he continued this conversation while talking to Bre Ties about Chelsea’s divorce. He agreed Bre when she called Emma “husband kidnapper.“ It would affect Emma’s reputation and lead to a loss of trust from her customers. They may think that he is not credible, trustworthy or genuine, which affects his professional and personal brand.
Emma denies the accusations
Emma seemed like rumors that were probably never brought to her attention during filming Sunset for sale. With all the backlash Emma she posted a photo with her friends Chelsea and Chrishell Stause with the caption, “Thank you @morganwallen for coming up with the theme song for Selling Sunset Season 8.” The song he was referring to was “Lies, lies, lies.” Later, Emma also shared a reel with Chrishell who appeared to attack Nicole, showing she had a couple of friends in her corner.

Chrishell and Chelsea stood up for Emma and Chrishell threatened to quit the show”disgusting lies“Nicole went viral. Chrishell took to her Instagram story to warn her followers about what they’re about to get Sunset for sale season 8 premiere. Chrishell further dives into how Nicole’s actions were portrayed on the show, stating she never wanted to work with him again.
“Nicole is a liar. It’s been proven time and time again. Emma has all the receipts and can’t wait for the mail. I’ll never work with her again. I think it’s better to sue.”
In the same Instagram story, Chrishell criticized the producers of the show and even tagged it Sunset for sale creator, Adam Divello’s company, Done And Done Productions, calling them “disgusting.” Chelsea also defended her best friend by talking about Nicole on her Instagram stories, calling her “devilish” Sunset for sale The reality star also posted a picture of herself and Emma with the supportive text “Protect HIM at all costs“(via Chelsea Lazkan’s Instagram). It will be interesting to see how the drama unfolds once Sunset for sale season 9 debut.
