For the first time in 17 years, the Edenhall Country House Hotel, located near Penrith in Cumbria, is a planned plan for its owners.
Paula and Wayne Williams have owned and managed 25 bedroom hotels after buying it in 2008 £ 985,000.
It is now on the market at Christie & Co at a freezer demand price of £ 1.29 million.
Edenhall has a bar, a restaurant, a space room, a conservatory and a two -bedroom owners’ apartment. In addition, it includes a three-bedroom duplex apartment that can accommodate up to seven guests and can be rented as an independent, self-service unit to produce extra income.
Paula said, “When we bought Edenhall, we were new in a hotel company and wanted a successful, thriving company at the heart of the village community. We worked hard to create a company that everyone feels welcome, guests return regularly, locals support us and we have a great reputation and a flourishing company.
“After getting this home for the last 17 years, it has been time to retire and get out of business, but we are sad to leave. We have had the privilege to meet great guests over the years, and we hope that new owners will enjoy as much as we do.”
Graham Wilkinson from Christie & Co stated that the hotel serves free time and corporate guests, as well as wedding and hosting.
He said, “Companies that offer a selection of income streams, a great location and a strong reputation are always desired and as such we expect a good interest.”
