The Eat & Drink Festival Christmas, we would argue, is the perfect winter warmer. After all, as the days get shorter and the temperature drops, we could all use a fun day out.

After the rip-roaring success of the spring edition, this festive iteration promises colourful cuisine, modern mixology and tantalising trends. At Olympia London, from 22-26 November, the festival will host celebrity experts, artisan producers, street food vendors and top brands to celebrate all things food and drink. What’s more, this festival is part of the Ideal Home Show, Christmas edition, meaning you can get a whole lot of Christmas shopping done early as well as pick up loads of the latest ideas for the home.

Highlights include The Christmas Kitchen, where visitors can watch live demonstrations from top chefs. Learn how to create simple but delicious festive dishes with Nadia and Dina Sawalha, aka The Curly Cooks, while patissier Eric Lanlard will showcase his clementine and pomegranate cake, if you’re looking to swap out your christmas cake for something a little bit different. Wanting to get creative? Why not learn how to make your own chocolate gifts with expert chocolatier Oli the Choc and surprise your loved ones with home-made treats.

Over at The Great Eat, meanwhile, you can wander through a playground of flavour, including German sausages, burgers, curries and pizzas. There, you can refill after an afternoon of shopping, and treat yourself to something to eat at one of the many street food vendors.

For something to take home, however, head to The Artisan Producers Market. Nibble on free samples, try delicious drinks and even watch a live demo or two from one of the stands, including The Cornish Cheese Company, Wonky Gin and Automic Sauces. Fill your boots (and your bags) with chutneys, pickles, bread, pastries, oils, juices, jams, honey, truffles, gin, wine and more. Wanting to get a head start on your Christmas shopping? This is the perfect place to get all of your gifts, as well as some festive treats and decorations.

If all this has you excited (and hungry), then get your tickets booked now and start getting into the festive spirit.
