The original release stated that the game will feature authentic elements such as uniforms, stadiums, traditions and more from over 100 NCAA sports teams.
By following NCAA football series, which ended after its launch in 2013 due to a legal dispute over the use of an athlete’s name, image and likeness (NIL), it was shocking news to hear the fan-favorite game is returning.

In June 2023, The Brandr Group (TBG) filed a lawsuit against EA Sports, alleging that the video game company’s group licensing agreement with OneTeam Partners violated TBG’s agreements with schools and its exclusive or preferred player group licensing rights.
Fortunately, a settlement between the two major college sports licensing companies resolved a major obstacle to EA Sports reviving its college football franchise.
EA’s partnership with OneTeam Partners involved paying players $500 based on their name, likeness and image, excluding royalties.
Despite TBG’s concerns about exclusion and undervaluation, the two sides have reached a settlement that will result in the dismissal of TBG’s lawsuit against EA Sports.
During and after the trial, many wondered whether NCAA football revival releases its 2024 release.

Sometime in either July or August is almost certain before college football’s “Week Zero” begins on Saturday, August 24th.

In short, some names are there while others are not. It could make for an awkward looking list with half the actual names, but it’s better than the previous one NCAA football situation.
Dynasty Mode is one of the most beloved aspects of the original NCAA football. The in-game mode allows players to monitor the on-field and off-field activities associated with managing a college football program.
Many are excited to hear that Dynasty Mode is reportedly being developed under the name “flagship game mode” for the future EA Sports College Football.
This information comes via an Extra Points insider Matt Brownwho sent the message”(Dynasty Mode) is where A LOT of energy is currently being spent on development:”
“EA Sources again told me that ‘EA Sports College Football’s flagship game mode is Dynasty Mode’. There is a LOT of energy going into development right now here. They want to get this mode right.”
Many believe that Dynasty was one of the best elements NCAA footballwhich creates a more immersive game space than Madden’s Franchise offering.
Second NCAA football Classic is a player-centric Road to Glory mode that allows players to guide one player’s progression from high school to potential Heisman Trophy candidate.
According to Game Rant, Road to Glory will return in 2024 EA Sports College Football.
Road to Glory typically allows players to create a character and navigate a four-year college football career. The goal is to become a campus legend by gaining reputation points through on-field achievements and off-field dominance.
Expect EA Sports College Football to be published in July 2024.
