A winner of New York’s iconic pizza scene, this bold and brilliant new neighborhood location at 22 Paddington Street in Marylebone transports diners into the city’s swinging pizza scene with artisanal creations inspired by Manhattan’s Italian community.
Sicilian head chef Francesco Macri has been honing his craft for over a decade with his distinctive flair and style, and improves upon his beginnings by using Southern Italian ingredients such as sweet San Marzano tomatoes and creamy Buffalo Mozzarella from Campania. Thanks to recipes passed down from his grandmother, his perfect pizzas also feature aged Molise Mozzarella, the flavor and size of which has been increased by baking the pizzas in the traditional thin and crispy style with bold toppings and dippers.
Grab a slice like a true New Yorker, or enjoy it in all its 14-inch glory from lunch to dinner seven days a week. Highlights include e.g Smoked Pepperoni with tomato, aged mozzarella, habanero and honey Fennel sausage tomato, pancetta, red onion and pecorino flakes’VodkaMade with four-hour slow-boiled vodka in a creamy tomato sauce topped with mozzarella.
Those looking for a lighter option can choose a white base Wild mushroom with three types of wild seasonal – King Oyster, Portobello and Chanterelle – topped with taleggio cheese, aged mozzarella, red onion jam and fried sage, or Vegan fire seasoned with tomato sauce, roasted peppers, crispy potatoes, pesto and nduja.
Sweet-toothed items on the dessert menu include the indulgent Tiramisù – a quintessential Southern Italian dessert infused with modern New York flair with roasted hazelnuts, salted peanuts and pistachios, and Vanilla Soft Serve – classic vanilla ice cream with fun, tasty toppings. Choose including Amarena cherries, toffee fudge sauce, honey and salted peanuts.
With more than 50 covers, Alley Cats Pizza pays homage to New York, and guests can choose from center tables or reclaimed church pew-style seating.
