This year has been a flurry of hot-item tickets and events—the likes of Oasis and Coldplay announcing tours have seen hordes of people trying to secure their place at the events. And now, the next big ticket is set to go on sale. Tickets to watch London’s 2024 New Year’s Eve fireworks are dropping next week.

Tickets for The Mayor of London’s New Year’s Eve Celebrations will go on sale at 12pm (that’s midday, not midnight) on Friday, October 18. So be sure to be ready and waiting ahead of time, so you can secure tickets to “one of the world’s most famous NYE fireworks displays.”

However, if you miss out – it’s not the end of the world or your chances to see the show. There will also be another ticket drop in Decemberthe date of which will be announced soon.

London’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks tickets

The price has risen this year, to £50 for the best viewing sections and £35 for the other areas. The price increase is to “facilitate enhanced security and crowd management within and around the operational footprint, ensuring ticket holders feel welcome and able to celebrate safely.”

But if you live in London, you’re in luck! Anyone living in a London postcode will get a £15 discount when booking their tickets. That brings the price down to £35 and £20. All you need to do is verify your postcode at the payment checkout when buying your tickets – and make sure the billing address on your card has been updated to the correct address!

There is a limit of four tickets per purchase. If you are a large family or group, another adult can buy up to the same number of tickets. But make sure you all travel to the fireworks in a group with the ticketholders.

Tickets will only be available through the official Ticketmaster link. The booking link will go live when tickets go on sale on October 18.
