Daisy Kelliher’s sister Bonnie Kelliher had a serious accident in Thailand, and Sailboat below deck star explains what happened and how she and her family have reacted. Daisy is one of the main faces Sailboat below deck, who has been Chief Stew seasons 2-4 and is rumored to continue as Cheif Stew in the upcoming fifth season. Bonnie was there Sailboat below deck season 4 when he came to visit his sister and hang out with the crew.

Daisy took to Instagram in the past few days to give it Below decks fans and friends know what happened. “2.5 weeks ago my sister had an accident in Thailand” she began before going on about all the medical Bonnie had to go through as a result.

“He has had multiple operations including chest, face and brain and two emergency operations, one when it happened and one at the weekend and a 12 hour operation last week.”


Daisy said that Bonnie was discharged from the ICU over the weekend, but stays in the hospital a “normal” room for two weeks or possibly longer.

After her first message, Daisy went into more detail about what happened to Bonnie. Daisy said she was in Thailand with her sister and that sshe posted on Instagram with her family’s permission.

Daisy revealed that it was a miracle that Bonnie survived the accident, which was apparently due to her not wearing a helmet on the motorcycle.

Bonnie said her sister was helped by a friend who noticed that Bonnie wasn’t coming home and found her at the hospital. Daisy’s first message to her followers was to take care of their friends, and she also made another appeal.

“Don’t get on a moped and if you’re wearing a helmet and have insurance (no helmet, no insurance),” Daisy advised.


Daisy also elaborated on that Bonnie was in a wonderful hospital and it is well taken care of. Both of Daisy’s Instagram posts received huge support and concern from the Below Deck community and her castmates. Sailboat below deck season 2 flight attendant Alli Dore wrote, “Omg I’m so sorry! Send Bonnie my love.”
