The Crazy Bear Group Limited, which includes two hotels and restaurants, is looking for new investment to improve its offerings and expand its portfolio.
The group, which operates two hotels in Stadhampton and Beaconsfield, is working with Savills to secure new financing for the business under new management from the beginning of 2024.
Crazy Bear is known for its eclectic design and innovative hotel and dining experiences.
This month (October 2024), the group plans to enter the market to seek suitable long-term capital through financing partners.
Since January 2024, Crazy Bear Group has been led by Tom Etridge, who has implemented a new management structure aimed at driving operational change, launching new restaurants, promoting stability and improving the overall guest experience.
According to Companies House, the only director currently listed is Richard Booth, who was appointed in May this year.
Working with Savills, the group plans to “develop and move towards a contemporary collection of boutique properties in highly desirable locations within easy reach of London”.
The Crazy Bear in Stadhampton was the group’s first hotel, opening in 1993 after a complete refurbishment of the 16th century pub.
The hotel has 23 bedrooms and private cottages that can accommodate up to 10 guests, and its reception area is housed in an old London Routemaster bus.
The Crazy Bear in Beaconsfield opened its doors in 2008.
