A popular children’s show Oh Gabba Gabba! is set to play at Coachella 2025.

Derived from the musical TV series of the same name (which ran from 2007 to 2015), the series has become known for its catchy, eclectic musical styles and colorful new-age characters and sets.

Almost ten years since its release Yo Gabba Gabba The actors have toured the popular live show, gathering fans both young and old. The series recently returned on Apple TV+ in a new show called Oh Gabba Gabbaland!

Actors of the cult TV series Oh Gabba Gabba! has been announced as one of the acts playing Coachella.

The world-renowned Indio, California, music festival has been running for over 20 years, and Oh Gabba Gabba! joins the likes of Lady Gaga, Post Malone and many more in the 2025 lineup.

The kids‘ touring band announced the news on Instagram, revealing that they’ll be playing the first day of the festival on both weekends (Friday, April 11 and April 18).

Although many know Oh Gabba Gabba! the quirky and colorful musical group has become a touring force in recent years, playing cities all over the world.

In fact, the group recently performed at Coachella 2024. They were spotted dressed in their usual giant toy costumes for the show, watching various sets and taking the stage to perform with The Aquabats (via Reddit).

Members of The Aquabats actually helped create the show, and the ska group often played songs from the cult classic Nickelodeon series.

They were even featured in a teaser for the festival, released several months after the 2024 festivities and long before they were announced as part of the 2025 lineup.

Some may be confused by the inclusion Oh Gabba Gabba! alongside touring artists such as Megan Thee Stallion, Charli XCX and Green Day, but the former TV actress has proven she can put on quite the show.

The Nickelodeon TV series has garnered a following of young adults (some of whom grew up with the show during its original season) and has flocked to the group’s shows around the world.

Most of their live shows feature songs from the show sung/engineered by series star DJ Lance Rock, along with the giant costumed creatures that make up his group from the show.

They’ve also been known to bring out a guest performer or two for special occasions, which will almost certainly happen during their Coachella set.

Over the years, they have collaborated with e.g. With Thundercat, Devon, My Chemical Romance and many more.

With the first season Oh Gabba Gabba! just recently started a sequel (debuting August 9, 2024 on Apple TV+), perhaps the group will bring their newer creative partners to the stage to play their latest music live.


Coachela runs from April 11th to April 13th and April 18th to April 20th, 2025.
