A jaw-dropping display of acrobatics, immersive theater and clowning is coming to the Royal Albert Hall next year – and it promises to be a show like no other. Cirque du Soleil will wow London audiences when its enchanting Corteo show opens at the concert venue in January.

Located somewhere between heaven and earth, theatergoers will be transported to a dreamlike parade in the mind of Mauro the Clown as he imagines his own funeral. In addition to their usual flips and tricks, performers are set to hang from the ceiling on chandeliers and float across the stage on balloons.

Corteo first premiered in Montreal in 2005. Since its creation, the show has amazed over 11 million people, in 22 countries, on four continents. It opens in London on January 9, runs for a two-month run, and closes on March 2.

It is suitable for all ages and tickets are available from 10am on Friday 12 July. They can be purchased via the Cirque du Soleil website or directly from the Royal Albert Hall.
