She married Kody in 1994 after his first wife Meri Brown and his second wife Janelle Brown. For 16 years, Christine was the new wife. In 2010, Kody married his fourth wife, Robyn Brown, and Christine was overcome with jealousy. To make matters worse, Kody openly favored Robyn and began withdrawing from his other wives.

Although several Sister wives season 18 stars were unhappy, in 2021 Christine was the first of Kody’s wives to walk out on him. She was finally followed by Janelle in 2022 and Meri later that year. After leaving Kody, Christine’s life has improved considerably. She met and married the love of her life, David Woolley, with whom she has a monogamous marriage. Christine’s transformation came shortly after she left her unhappy marriage. The last few years were the worst, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic tore the Brown family apart. Not surprisingly, she looked at least ten years younger soon after breaking up with Kody. In May 2022, Christine posted a great photo of herself on Instagram wearing a cool vegan leather jacket. In the picture, she is bathed in sunshine and radiant, her blond hair blowing in the wind.

Christine tried to make the marriage work long after she should have left because she believed marriage was forever, but Kody wasn’t willing to give her what she needed. The the final straw came after Utah overturned a law that made polygamy a felony, reducing it to a misdemeanor. The only reason the Browns left Utah during Sister wives season 1 is due to this law. When the law was no longer a problem, Christine wanted to move back. When Kody refused, she decided to go without him.

In January, Christine posted pictures on Instagram of her trying on different wedding dresses. The first photos on the Instagram carousel are of the dress she wore on her wedding day. Many in the comment section preferred the dress in the second set of pictures, but Christine opted for a lace number with a daring plunging neckline. The choice was a surprise, as it’s bolder than Christine’s usually understated style, but losing weight has made Christine more likely to experiment with a more edgy look.
