Chocolate fans across the UK are rejoicing at the arrival of a delightful collaboration between Nestle and Lotus Biscoff – new to British shores.

This indulgent treat has caused a stir since its launch in Australia earlier this year, and now UK residents have the chance to enjoy the creamy confection for themselves from selected retailers.

The mouth-watering Milkybar Biscoff bar was featured on Facebook and Instagram by snack connoisseurs NewFoodsUK (@newfoodsuk), who are known for their diligent search for the latest culinary delights to tantalise our palates.

The reveal sparked a flurry of excited responses on social media, with scores of commentators expressing their eagerness to get their teeth into it. “Absolutely Food Heaven! Did you ask Nestle to create this just for me?”

A second couldn’t hide her excitement, writing: “As a white chocolate fan AND a Biscoff fan; yes this sounds lush as hell and I need to try it ASAP.” A third commenter called for immediate action, tagging a friend and declaring: “Stop what you’re doing! We’re going bear hunting!”

While a fourth shared his anticipation: “Now I can’t wait to try.” Others, however, seemed worried about the treat’s high price tag. “It looks really nice but I refuse to pay £2.50 + £3.99 postage for it,” lamented one Facebook user.

Another called in with monetary concerns, saying: “At £2.50 each they should be nice.” However, Australians have been able to get their hands on the sweet sensation for the significantly lower price of $1.95 AUD – just £1.01 based on current exchange rates.

Melanie Chen, Head of Marketing Confectionery, added: “The new Milkybar Biscoff choc bar is a collaboration between two iconic and nostalgic brands – white chocolate lovers are sure to love it. Growing up, many Aussies fondly remember visiting their local milk bar , a fun and joyful treat sharing experience, so what better way to celebrate this flavor collaboration than by recreating some dairy childhood nostalgia.”

In addition to World Sancks UK, the bar is available in the UK through various online confectionery retailers.
