Below decks season 11 lost its season-long chef Anthony Iracane in the final episode, but his replacement may be able to breathe new life into the St. David’s kitchen. After Below decks in the final episode of season 11, Chef Anthony was fired due to his lack of timing and organizational skills. Captain Kerry Titheradge had to quickly find a new cook before the next charter left port. After bidding farewell to Chef Anthony, the crew was ready to welcome another of their own St. David aboard, but the new chef was not quite what they expected.

Chef Nick Tatlock joins St. David’s next episode Bravo‘sBelow decks season 11 according to the preview clip, and his entrance is memorable. “I have been a chef for 22 years. I think I lost my mind a long time ago.” New Below decks season 11 chef Nick laughed as he introduced himself to viewers.


“Maybe I talk to myself too much. I have a few little tricks, and maybe I’m a little shy sometimes—but I’m a harmless madman. I’m not going to murder anybody.” Although the new crew member shared, he is harmless, Chef Nick seems to be a bit more of a joke like Chef Anthony.

Below deck, the crew gives a first impression of chef Nick Tatlock

Although Chef Nick seems to fit in well Below decks cast of season 11, the crew is still a bit skeptical after losing Chef Anthony. When he was introduced, The rest of the St. David’s crew shared that they felt the chef was older as expected of him to be, even though Nick is only 40 years old. “Yachting is what keeps me young” Nick shared. “And (I) have no ex-wives, no kids. That’s probably why I look so good.” Captain Kerry explained his expectations to Chef Nick, who understood what was going on with very little setback.


Like Chef Nick is getting more used to St. David, there are likely to be some interesting moments that come from his time in the kitchen. Chefs on Below decks tend to be the most eccentric members of the crew, especially since they have to work in very different roles than the rest of the team. With a personality like Nick’s, who already seems to have his own interesting quirks, it’s likely that Below decks is an interesting phase for him where he gets to showcase his own quirks, be it cooking or otherwise.

Below decks season 11 is finalizing its remaining charters before the port when the charter season is about to end. With the drama of the season ramping up in the last several episodes, it seems likely that the season’s problems will be resolved in the final episodes. Although Chef Nick may not add to the drama Below decks season 11, his presence definitely brings a change in the leading winds of St. David.
