“Gary Rice, Director of Operations, Cameron House”

Cameron House on Loch Lomond, a luxury five-star hotel, has appointed Gary Rice as its new Chief Operating Officer.

With over 28 years of experience in the restaurant industry, Gary brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the hotel. As a member of the management team, he assists in daily operations and ensures high customer service and standards. In addition, she contributes to recruitment, training and retention efforts while supporting Resort Director Michael Lavizan.

A Glaswegian by birth, Gary has honed his expertise in a number of UK hotels from Reading to Leeds, progressing through the ranks of famous hotel brands such as Hilton, Jurys and Thistle. For the past six years, he has been a key member of Klarent Hospitality’s hotel management team. He first served as Director of Operations at Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Central before becoming General Manager at sister Doubletree hotel in Glasgow Strathclyde. Highly motivated, Gary has successfully led his teams to a number of awards throughout his career, including gold medal accreditation at the 2013 Scottish Hotel Awards.

Cameron House Hotel is located on the shores of Loch Lomond in the Trossachs National Park. The hotel has 208 bedrooms, 28 of which are suites. The hotel has several dining options, an award-winning spa, a marina and two golf courses, including the 18-hole Championship Carrick Golf Course. The wider resort also includes Cameron Lodges, which includes 115 self-catering accommodation, cottages and apartments.
