Burger & Lobster is actively looking for new locations in the UK, both in London and beyond.

The group, which operates 18 restaurants worldwide and nine in London, said it was “setting its sights on UK expansion”.

This comes after a successful year for the company, which saw pre-tax profits rise 59 per cent to £3.5m in 2023, with like-for-like growth of 9 per cent. However, the group’s turnover remained stable at 36.1 million pounds, compared to 36.5 million pounds in 2022.

Burger & Lobster reported an 8.5% reduction in energy consumption over the year thanks to new initiatives and staff training. In addition, the company has maintained a high employee retention rate of 69 percent.

Burger & Lobster Restaurant Group CEO Dino Sura said: “After a great year and with a strong focus on service quality, menu development and brand positioning during that time, we are confident that now is a good time to expand our operations. the new office will hopefully open before the end of the year and a few more will be put into operation next year. ‘

Burger & Lobster’s global portfolio includes restaurants in locations such as Singapore, New York, Kuwait City, Malaysia, Bangkok, Qatar and the Philippines.
