Bubala, a vegetarian restaurant, will open its third London location in King’s Cross in April.

Bubala, which means ‘sweetheart’ in Yiddish, founded Marc Summer Middle Eastern Restaurant-Pop-Up Spotalfield in 2019 before opening another permanent location in Soho in 2021.

The new King’s Cross site covers two floors and has the first wide outdoor terrace in the restaurant group. The total capacity of the 120 deck has a six-meter high entrance with striking Halo lighting, open kitchen and backrest bar.

Summer and main chef Ben Rand have made a menu containing foods such as Oyster fungus with tamar and coriander seeds, spanakopita börek and charred cucumber Tzatziki.

The drinks menu contains bottled natural wines, beers produced by the United Kingdom and the soft drinks of the Gazoz house.

The summers said, “We are excited to bring Bubalan King to the cross and continue our vision from the accessible and exciting vegetarian in the kitchen inspired by the Middle East. This new location is the perfect blend of the vibrant energy of the area and the hospitable atmosphere we have cultivated in our other restaurants. We can’t wait to share it with our guests. “
