Brighton’s ‘best pizza chain’ has opened its first London neighborhood restaurant, joining its two central London branches already in the capital. Fatto a Mano (Italian for ‘made by hand’), opened in Brighton in 2015, bringing authentic Neapolitan pizza to the seaside town.

The restaurant became an instant hit and went on to open three branches where it is well loved and queues are regularly found outside the door. The restaurant has two branches in Covent Garden and King’s Cross but has now spread to Bethnal Green to open its first neighborhood pub in London.

Guests who head down to the Bethnal Green branch before November 17 will also be able to sample a limited edition special. “Carolina’s Meatballs”. This limited edition pizza special will see Fatto a Mano’s signature pizza dough topped with meatballs and a spicy tomato sauce, made with East London Liquor Co vodka.

Tucked away under Bethnal Green’s converted railway arches, the new venue seats 65 people. There is also a sun-catching terrace which will add another 40 seats when the weather is nice.

Rupert Davidson said: “We are very excited to launch our first neighborhood pub in London. We have loved our adventures in London so far and Bethnal Green is like going back to the early days of our first Brighton openings, with neighbors and the community at the forefront of everything we do”.
