The Hospitality and Free -time Group Boxpark has appointed Matt Snell as its new CEO.

Before moving to Boxpark, Matt Snell worked in a British meal package in Gusto Italian, where he started as CEO in 2018 before he was promoted to CEO in 2020.

Before that, Snell kept older roles in well -known hospitality brands, including Fuller, Smith & Turner and Red’s true barbecue.

As the Director of Brewing Specialist Fuller in 2012-2015, Matt Snell oversaw 98 Premium brands and self-service principles in the Pubs and Hotel in Southern England, leading to a group of eight direct employees. He also served on Fuller’s board.

In his new role, Snell focuses on expanding the presence of Boxpark on the UK’s food, drink and entertainment basket, emphasizing exploring new cooperation and partnerships.

Matt Snell’s appointment follows Chris Burford’s recent hiring as CFO. Burford is responsible for supporting and strengthening the company’s operations and growth strategy.

In 2024, the group opened two new Boxpark venues in Liverpool and Camden and recently announced the flagship lease in Shoreditch.

The company also recently announced the release of the new Food Hall concept, Boxhall, on Liverpool Street.

Boxpark chairman Paul Thadi commented on the rental and recent development: “We have had a great year by opening new sites, developing new concepts, building incredible guest experiences and doing the best,” he said. “As we grow, we will continue world -class leaders who have the skills to help achieve our business goals. I am happy to welcome Matt to a team that brings a wealth of experience and marks an exciting new number on the Boxpark trip. “
