Laughter is the kind of natural high we like here at BOTI HQ. Side split – I really can’t breathe – my abs are going to hurt tomorrow stuff like that. If you’re partial to a laugh (who isn’t?), roll up, roll up, because Brighton Comedy Garden is coming back to town in July and you’re guaranteed to get some faceache.

And if you too suffer from the usual post-Fringe comedy, we recommend getting yourself tickets to July’s edgy line-up.

Comic legends and a hand-picked line-up of rising stars will grace the outdoor stage at Preston Park during the five-day festival, with each show featuring a mix of laugh-out-loud talent.

Stand-up Supremo from Dara O Briain 8/10 cats ordinary Sara Pascoe, The Last Leg’s Josh Widdicombe and brilliant Taskmaster failure Ivo Graham, there’s something for most comedy tastes.

The event was founded by siblings Will Briggs and Cass Randolph (pictured below) In 2019. The duo are behind the Greenwich Comedy Festival (Time Out’s ‘favourite London comedy festival’) and the equally popular Bristol Comedy Garden, so you know you’re in good hands!

The festival-style ensemble brings the bars to the (hopefully sunny) summer weather with craft beers and cocktails. There are also fair trade coffee roasters, so you can find something to indulge yourself with.

They’ve thought of both your tummies and your tickles, with a special focus on tasty street food delights from a curated selection of the city’s food scene, including Funky Elephant’s Caribbean fusion and African Chow’s spicy treat.

Check out their full lineup and get there quick if you don’t want to miss out on your favorites!
