The Kick & Create camps, run by Adobe and the Bloomsbury Football Foundation, are aimed at girls aged six to 16 and combine football coaching with creative workshops.

Camps are being held in Camden and Islington during school holidays and will run for two years. They are heavily subsidised to help reduce costs for families who need financial support.

Charlie Hyman, founder of the Bloomsbury Football Foundation, said: “At Bloomsbury, we see every day how having access to football builds confidence, life skills, and a sense of belonging for young girls.

“By bringing Adobe’s creative expertise into our camps, we’re building something special – helping girls grow their imagination and creativity alongside their skills on and off the pitch.”

The workshops will teach girls how to use Adobe Express, an AI-powered design app, to create videos, posters, football shirt designs and more.

Karen Carney, former England and Arsenal footballer, said: “I was once the only girl at my football camp. It was tough. That’s why I know how much it matters to have a space that genuinely feels like it was made for you.”
