What happens when you mash up a brisket-topped burger that is the stuff of legends with fiery Michelin-award-winning Thai food? You get London’s latest powerhouse food collaboration. Black Bear Burger has joined forces with Farang for their latest monthly burger collab, and it’s sure to set taste buds ablaze.

The two London institutions may serve up wholly different cuisines, but they’re united by a complete obsession with only using the very best ingredients. Farang’s chef-founder Sebby Holmes’ pursuit of the highest quality has led to him even designing his own range of sauces and cooking pastes. Meanwhile, Black Bear Burger is so proud of the raw product that goes into their burgers that they now host steak nights every Thursday to highlight the quality of their beef.

So, while their foods may differ, their ethos’ are very similar indeed. It was only a matter of time, then, before they joined forces. And what a beast of a burger they’ve decided to team up on, which is now available at Black Bear Burger.

What’s in the burger collab?

The Payst Burnt Chilli Brisket Burger takes incredible ingredients from both sides of the collaborative aisle and smashes them together into a whole new creation. From Farang, there’s the Payst burnt chilli mayo, hot Payst red chilli paste, and savoury Thai basil. Meanwhile, Black Bear Burger provides the top-quality beef patty, which then gets topped with 12-hour beer-braised brisket, crispy shallots, and gooey cheese.

I’m not drooling – you’re drooling. Okay, who am I kidding? We’re both drooling surely!

You’ll have to act fast to try the burger collab, though, because it’s only available for a limited time. The Payst Burnt Chilli Brisket Burger will be available through February at Black Bear Burger’s Brixton and Exmouth Market restaurants. Be sure you don’t miss out!
