Bespoke Hotels has acquired four properties from the Coast and Country hotel collection.

The acquisition includes the Caledonian Hotel in Fort William, the Great Western Hotel in Oban, the Pitlochry Hydro Hotel (pictured) and the Marine Hotel in Llandudno.

These properties will be added to Bespoke Hotels’ portfolio of more than 70 independent hotels, further strengthening its presence in key tourist destinations.

The group also recently took over the management contracts for the Green House Hotel in Bournemouth and the Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel & Spa in Wales.

Haydn Fentum, chairman of the board of Bespoke Hotels, stated that the transaction is a “significant step forward in our growth strategy”.

Jeremy Jones, head of Christie & Co, said: “The sale of these four hotels to Bespoke and their investment partners is further evidence of the real momentum in the UK regional hotel market.”

The Coast and Country hotel collection was previously managed by Bespoke Hotels, with 18 properties for sale earlier this year.
