JKS Restaurants-backed Persian restaurant Berenjak has opened a site at Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire.

Little Berenjak sits in the Soho House members’ club area and serves a similar menu to its London restaurants, inspired by Tehran’s kabab houses.

“As the name suggests, it’s a little sister to London restaurants in the best possible way,” says Berenjak’s website.

“The menu consists of Berenjak classics from mazeh and khoreshti to kababs and cocktails.”

The opening was announced to Soho House investors in March, with chief executive Andrew Carnie saying the club was focused on improving the experience for its members.

The first Berenjak restaurant was opened by chef Kian Samyani and JKS in London’s Soho in 2018 and has had a Michelin Bib Gourmand since 2019.

Another restaurant launched in Borough Market in 2022 and Berenjak’s first overseas site in Dubai last year.
