Although Captain Sandy seems happy that Chief Stew Aesha Scott is back Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea after a long absence, he made some comments in the latest episode of the show that were off-putting to viewers. When Aesha got a glass stuck in her hand from the previous episode’s guest performance, she had to seek medical attention. Although Sandy was worried about Aesha, she explained it the fact that his Chief Stew had to go to the hospital to get help made him uncomfortable. Instead of worrying about Aesha, Captain Sandy thought about himself.

Although Captain Sandy has shown concern for his crew, he has been able to do things on his own in many circumstances, which has made him seem arrogant or self-centered in the past.
