Paris is the newest stew in St. David

He joined in hard times

The trip to Paris for the St. David’s crew may have been easier, but the crew had been struggling before his arrival on the superyacht. At the beginning of the subscription period, Fraser had a crew of three stew groups of the in-house team. Xandi Olivier, Barbie Pascual and Cat Baugh worked well together during the first order when it became clear to Barbie that Cat was having trouble getting any direction in her work. Cat said her experiences on superyachts were unlike what she encountered on St. David, which caused her stress.

Barbie and Cat had disagreements, which made it difficult for Fraser to control the stews. While Cat suffered emotional breakdowns and felt unable to connect with the rest of the crew, Barbie struggled to work with someone who wasn’t on her level. Both women brought their problems to Fraser, who was unable to separate his personal feelings for Cat from his professional behavior. Although Fraser tried to help, Cat continued to spiral and after feeling overwhelmed by several charters, decided to leave St. David’s. Paris was the replacement who took Cat’s place.

Chef Nick joined the crew after Chef Anthony was let go

He was a stand-in for a solid cook

Chef Nick is the newest member of the St. David’s crew, but he seemed to have already made himself welcome with the rest of the staff. After spending most of the charter season with Chef Anthony, things in the kitchen began to deteriorate. Chef Anthony, who struggles with dyslexia, struggled to keep the kitchen organized and accommodate the differences in what the diners were looking for. Even though it was difficult for the chef, the St. David’s crew did nothing to make things easier.

Although Chef Anthony had a high skill level, he struggled to prepare dishes that followed the wishes of the priority guests and was unable to keep track of everything that came and went in the kitchen. Although he was eventually a skilled cook, Captain Kerry had to let Chef Anthony go, and a new one was needed instead. Chef Nick arriving on his day off was the style Captain Kerry had been looking for. Seasoned and set in his ways, chef Nick may be a bit eccentric, but the chef has managed to integrate with the crew.

Paris and Chef Nick got off to a strange start

Nick’s behavior confused Paris

Although Chef Nick was a welcome addition to St. David’s after chef anthony left, his introduction to the rest of the crew was a bit awkward. First meeting Captain Kerry’s chef, Nick discussed his processes with the captain and was welcomed into the team. The crew took a backseat to the meeting and got a chance to criticize the chef before they could talk to him. The whole crew seemed like chef Nick seemed like a nice guy, but he was older and a bit more eccentric than one would expect from a superyacht chef.

After he had been with them on the superyacht for a day, the crew could make more accurate judgments about the chef. During their first order, things were awkward, as the priority guest had explained that he didn’t like the extra oil in his food. Fraser requested that the plates be decorated before they were delivered to the guests, but Chef Nick refused to follow orders. While his work behavior was strange, his personal behavior was even more puzzling. Paris in particular felt a little uncomfortable with the way Chef Nick treated her.

He was inappropriate about her body

After meeting the chef, it seemed obvious that Paris would have trouble with his attitude, even though she herself was quite laid back. Paris, an Australian, thought she would get along with the chef quite easily, but things quickly broke down in their communication. After repeatedly asking on Fraser’s behalf if Nick would decorate the guests’ dishes, Paris felt that the way Nick spoke to her was unprofessional. Paris didn’t appreciate Nick’s honesty, but eventually decided to give it up for the sake of the crew.

Later, Paris met Nick again when he made a crew meal, and her comments about his eating habits, which led to comments about his weight, were unprofessional. Nick saw Paris putting mayo on her wrap, and after telling her that she loves mayo, she mentioned that she should probably limit her intake. When Paris responded and said she didn’t mind his tone, Nick commented on his weight, which made Paris visibly uncomfortable.

Nick tried to defend his behavior

He didn’t think he had done anything wrong

Although Nick was unable to establish connections with other creright away, his biggest problem should be fixing his employment relationship with Paris. If Stew still finds Nick’s comments about her uncomfortable, it could cause a problem among the rest of the crew. Paris might not be too upset about the way Nick is talking about her right now, but Nick has already defended his behavior, which means he’s likely to do so again.
