While in Mustique, Ellie has struggled to figure out how to manage her time and prioritize her tasks properly. He makes it clear that he does not understand which tasks are most important and which are least, Ellie has been having a hard time with Aesha’s instructionssometimes completely ignoring them. Although he feels that he is working at a high level, he hardly captures the bottom of the barrel of his own potential.

While it seems like she thinks she’s been able to work on her performance, Ellie’s response to criticism has been difficult all season.


Ellie has felt like she has to over-explain and face backlash, so she’s been tough when Aesha comes to her with problems. Because of her behavior, Aesha has avoided giving Ellie much feedback unless it’s incredibly important. Although Ellie deserves to understand that her performance is poor and knows how Aesha needs her to improve, Aesha has proven too difficult to talk to Ellie in a neutral setting. Ellie seems to take Aesha’s criticism personallymaking it difficult to help the main stews improve their skills.

Although Ellie has been struggling throughout the charter season, things escalated when Captain Sandy Yawn and Aesha brought in a fourth stew at the end of the charter season to make sure things could run smoothly. Carrie O’Neill, who was happy to work as a floating stew wherever Aesha was needed, she had similar experiences to Ellie before she came to work for Mustique. Although Ellie and Carrie seemed to be on the same level, it quickly became clear that Carrie was more powerful than Ellie, which the other stew saw as a threat.
