Below Deck Med season 8 crew fought too much

Kyle Viljoen continued the drama among the crew

The Deck Med the season 8 crew was incredibly prone to drama. The season was doomed before the crew members got on board and started filming. As a returning crew member, Kyle Viljoen became involved in the relationship between Chief Stew Tumi Mhlongo and Natalya Scudder. He sent a message to Tumi and warned him about Natalya before they boarded the boat. Kyle and Tumi arrived late in the season, so Natayla stepped into the main stew instead of Tumi. Once he got on the boat, a conflict arose as they argued over Natalya’s management tactics.

As friends of both Tumi and Natalja, both women yelled at Kyle about each other. He did not choose a side between either of his friends and liked their quarrel. After one of their fights, Tumi texted Kyle and said:I know you’re his friends, but Nat needs to stay in his lane.” Instead of defending Natalja, Kyle sent Tumi a text message:I’m sorry to hear this – I told you he’s something that came to all of us.”

Tumi’s perception of Natalja was ruined before she even met the stew, all because of Kyle.

Kyle was the one who started the drama Deck Med season 7. Captain Sandy gave him another chance Deck Med season 8 but he should have known he would cause a major conflict in a boat. The main stew, Tumi, didn’t get the respect it deserved. When Tumi arrived on the boat, she criticized how Natalya had been driving the boat as her temporary replacement. This set Natalya off, and they started fighting almost immediately. He was incredibly defensive in his first interaction with Tumi, causing them to fail for the rest of the season. From there, Natalya started complaining about Tumi to their crew members. Their mutual friend Kyle did virtually nothing to reduce their conflict. It wasn’t his job to squash the beef, but he could have stood up for Tum.

Natalya badmouthed Tumi in her confessional interviews. In addition to sharing his gut feelings about Chief Stew with his crew members, he called Tumi “fucking bitch“in the confession Book. It was incredibly disrespectful of Natalya to talk about her head stew like that, even though it was behind her back and not in her face. He never respected Tum Captain Sandy had to step in and warn them of their behavior. After hearing the argument, Captain Sandy told Tumi and Natalya that he would fire them both if they couldn’t act cordially.

Deck Med season 8 had clear problems from the start. Because Tumi and Kyle missed the boat, giving him time to interfere with his relationship with Natalya. Tumi had a preconceived notion about Natalja before he met her. They got off on the wrong foot after their first interaction when Tumi said “The organization is exemplary” as Natalya filled in as the main stew. In addition to Tumi and Natalja’s season-long feud, Bosun Ruan Irving created a big feud with Captain Sandy at the beginning of the season.

Ruan caused confusion Deck Med season 8 after claiming to be a yacht captain. When he joined the season, he said, he had more than 10 years of experience in the sailing industry. In the first episode Deck Med season 8, Captain Sandy found out that there had been a problem with Ruan’s paperwork. An officer of The Watch told him that Ruan’s medical certificate was “not certified,” and that he only had pictures of his paperwork. Captain Sandy also found out that he had faked his Yachtmaster.

“In this post, because it’s so tightly regulated, an MCA officer can board a ship at any time and it’s all about the safe operation of the ship. From the life rafts to the certificates we have to have.”

Ruan claimed that when he was working on another boat, “the ticket has expired“so crew members”had to get the ticket ready quickly.” Because of this, he told Captain Sandy that “a guy came on the boat and he gave us our tickets.” However, his excuse didn’t fly with Captain Sandy, and he immediately shot him. By the end of the year Deck Med in season 8 episode 1, the crew had already seen their first member fired. The drama started early and continued throughout the rest of the season.

After the incident, Aesha went to Captain Jason and told him what happened. He listened to Aesha and immediately shot Luke.
