London has witnessed some pretty notable collabs over the years; but arguably none as iconic as this one. The best coffee bar in London has teamed up with the UK’s most visited cultural attraction – and doesn’t that just sound like a match made in heaven?
That’s right, folks: yesterday saw London‘s legendary late-night coffee bar, Bar Italyswing open the doors of its shiny new site inside none other than Outernet. This partnership marks the very first expansion for the 24-hour Soho spot. But I suppose if you can’t make history on your 75th birthdaywhen can you?
Beloved for being open – quite literally – all hours of the day and night, and oozing its undeniable charm; Bar Italia was first opened in 1949 by Lou and Caterina Polledri and has stayed in the family ever since. Now run by the grandchildren of the original owners, many of the bar’s original details and features still remain, and it’s still to this day the epitome of old-school Soho. The new Outernet location is sure to become just as cherished as the original – and I, for one, can’t wait to pay it a visit.
