Rayne is a 37-year-old woman from Española, New Mexico who stars in the new. 90 day fiance spin-off with Chidi, a 33-year-old visually impaired Nigerian man. Rayne has two children from two different relationships. He too there are 130 chickens, 5 ducks, five dogs, 3 cats and a horse. Rayne described herself as lonely in episode 1, saying that she is “quirky weird“for ordinary people.
Meanwhile, Chidi lives in Lagos with her sister and brother-in-law. Chidi was not born blind. He saw until he was 17 when he had an accident. One of Chidi’s friends had climbed a tree and the apple fell and hit Chidi in his right eye. The pain was unbearable, he couldn’t even see the board. His vision continued to deteriorate. One night, Chidi fell and hit his left eye on a wooden table. Chidi was taken to the hospital but nothing could be done to save her sight. In the end, Chidi was completely blind in both eyes.

Chidi revealed that she was afraid to tell Rayne she was blind when they first met because she thought it would scare her away.
He also didn’t know he was talking to a white woman. He had sent her a naughty picture and Chidi never reacted to it. When he confronted Chidi about it, he finally admitted that he couldn’t see. Nor had Rayne explored the emotional and spiritual needs that Chidi would have as a visually impaired person. Rayne was not realistic about the relationship. Her mother thought that Rayne would be angry and hurt if things didn’t go as she had hoped. Also, after discussing Chidi’s regular church attendance, Rayne said she didn’t consider herself a Christian because he”know truthfully” that aliens, UFOs and the Illuminati exist. He wanted to tell Chidi that he was wrong to believe that God existed. He wanted to show her “truth.”

Rayne appeared to have shared a Facebook link to an excerpt from Episode 1 where Chidi talked about how she was the one she had been praying for, writing that she had always wanted Chidi and “loved“him. He wrote that healing takes time and time has passed and that he “must go forward with or without him.“Rayne Told Herself”I got this” and used the hashtag “#Don’t let your family make decisions for you.”
According to Shabooty, Rayne may have hinted at Chidi’s family, who had made the final decision about her and Chidi’s divorce. Meanwhile, Rayne also posted another tweet saying, “God heals all pain,” suggesting that he had begun to believe in Christianity again. He added: “D*** I was played”, before adding, “heartbreak hotel“and ask how someone could be”so negative.” Rayne seems to have rediscovered God, but lost her love in the process.
