Welcome to Plathville Star Moriah Plath’s tumultuous relationship with her boyfriend Matthew Craven was the focus of season six, and it’s time for an update on the status of their relationship. Welcome to Plathville season 6 began in July 2024 and ended in early October 2024. The hit TLC show premiered in 2019 and featured parents Barry and Kim Plath and the way their conservative and religious beliefs shaped their family dynamics when they were 10 (one dead and one does not). performance) children.

Over the years, Kim and Barry have become much more free-spirited, have divorced, and continue to live with shared custody of their four minor children. Moriah is the second oldest Plath daughter and has had a major storyline in every season of the show. Seasons 2 and 3 introduced Moriah’s first boyfriend, Max Kallschmidt, as well as their breakup after he cheated on her. In season 6, Moriah introduced that she was recovering from another heartbreak, and several events happened with that during the season and now after.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows you can stream or watch right now.

Moria and Matthew’s relationship history

Moriah took Matthew back

Based on what 22-year-old Moriah and her older brother Ethan revealed back in the day Welcome to Plathville season 6, Moriah began dating a 30-year-old Matthew before season 5 when she was living with Ethan, his ex-wife Olivia Plath, and Olivia’s brother Nathan Megg. Olivia moved out of the shared house without notice and behind on the rent, according to Ethan, who also told Matthew was the one who made Moria move away and isolate herself.

Moriah’s family and second-oldest brother Micah Plath’s girlfriend, Veronica Peters, revealed during the season that Moriah’s ex Matthew created a toxic relationship and that he would gas Moriah, tear her down, and isolate her from her friends and family. . Barry claimed that he met Matthew, they talked for three hours and that he was totally intoxicated and mesmerized. Barry called him a “master manipulator”. Moriah wrote her song “Devil In A Suit and Tie” about Matthew, and the Plaths helped her shoot her music video for it.

Another negative point Plathie made about Matthew was that he was in another relationship with a woman with whom he had a child. When the truth about Matthew’s treatment of Moriah came out, Moriah surprised everyone in the finale episode by admitting that she talked to Matthew again and that he had forgiven her and taken her back because she explained herself and it made sense to her. Moriah tried to get rid of her family (via Access to Hollywood), and it caused turmoil over her decision to get back with Matthew.

Barry and Kim sat down with Moriah, who said Matthew wanted to talk to both of them off camera. Barry and Kim informed Moriah that they supported her and no one was mad at her. However, her siblings were clearly upset that their sister was back with her toxic ex.

Matthew has drama with the Plath family

Which could make things worse

Non-initial2818 Reddit captured two Instagram stories Matthew posted in early October 2024 that trashed his perception of the show and also bashed Kim. She posted a mug shot of Kim’s 2022 DUI under the devilish photo..

“Remind me again… Who is more of a threat to humans?” Matthew wrote on top of the picture.

In another story, Matthew shared the same image of the devil and made a general statement: “I’m pretty sure this isn’t who I am” implying that Moriah united him with the devil. Matthew has started problems with the Plath family. Historically The Plaths have ganged up against them against dissentand most of the Plaths ended season 6 not liking Matthew to Moriah one bit. Therefore, if Moria is still with Matthew, her family will be more against it than before.

Do they coordinate?

Both Moriah and Matthew have Instagram and TikTok accounts, and their interconnected activities are mysterious.

In early October, Redditor

Matthew

‘s Instagram, which led them to Matthew’s TikTok, where Moriah had dropped a black heart emoji on her post from July 2024, showing that there was still something between them at the time.

Neither of them follow each other on Instagram on their verified accounts, but that could mean they’re trying to keep the nature of their relationship under wraps. Either that or they’ve been broken up again since July.

What does Moriah’s future look like in Welcome to Plathville?

It depends on Matthew

Another reason for Moria and Matthew’s social media estrangement could be that they both plan to perform Welcome to Plathville season 7. There was a lot of buzz among the Plaths and viewers about Moria and Matthew’s relationship, so bringing them into the show in the future would make for a compelling storyline. They might be hiding their relationship to avoid leaking spoilers. In any case, the current status of their relationship is unknownbut their drama has the potential to continue on the show.

Welcome to Plathville seasons 1-6 are available to stream on Discovery+.

Welcome to Plathville is a reality television series that follows the life of the Plath family. The family is a strongly conservative family of nine children, which, although it shares some of its values, has begun to long for and cling to its own independence. As the family tries to hold on to their old world values, primarily separate from the rest of the country, they take into account their children’s new beliefs and bump into new family members from their spouses.
