Are Kody Brown and Janelle Brown dating? (Robyn thinks they do)

Sister wivesPolygamous patriarch Kody Brown was recently divorced three times, but there’s a chance he could reunite with his second wife, Janelle Brown. Kody married his first wife, Meri Brown, in 1990, but the couple was not happy together. Since divorce was not an option, they decided to bring another wife. Kody and Meri had a polygamous family background, so it was not a foreign concept. Janelle was married to Meri’s brother at the time, but divorced him and married Kody in 1993.

Janelle had six children with Kody, but when all was said and done, Kody had four wives and 18 children. Over the past few years three of Kody’s four wives have divorced from plural marriagesand several of his grown children do not speak to him. A recent premiere Sister wives season 19 finds Kody and his fourth wife, Robyn Brown, in a monogamous marriage. However, Robyn believes that Kody can save his marriage to Janelle.

One in, one out

After marrying Janelle in 1993, Kody married his third wife Christine Brown in 1994. Kody and Janelle seemed mostly happy togetherbut things fell apart when Kody started fighting with Janelle’s older boys. In 2021, Christine left Kody, followed by Janell, and then Meri in 2023, so Janell was the second wife to join the family and the second to leave. The Sister wives the season 19 star had six children with Kody, but sadly their son, 25-year-old Garrison Brown, died in March.

During a recent episode Sister wives season 19, 55-year-old Janelle told 52-year-old Christine that she enjoyed polygamy and would be open to polygamy again. Unlike Christine and Meri, who often felt neglected by Kody, Janelle appreciated the fact that Kody only came to visit every few nights. She felt that it gave her a level of independence that she really appreciated.

Is he delusional?

As the last wife of the house, Robyn doesn’t want to spend the rest of her life stuck alone with Kody. The Sister wives star married Kody to be part of a large family, so she’s not interested in being his only wife. With Christine already remarried and Kody not interested in Meri, Janelle is Robyn’s only hope. Robyn has encouraged Kody to try to make amends with Janelle, otherwise Kody’s marriage to Robyn may be doomed.
