UK B-Corp hotel group Exclusive Collection is excited to announce the addition of Ansty Hall in Warwickshire to its portfolio. The Grade II listed Georgian mansion has been revived with extensive renovations that have brought new vitality to its historic walls.

Ansty Hall, a 62-key hotel, boasts a rich history intertwined with the city’s Shakespearean heritage and dedication to innovation. It is a place where medieval legends and influential writers meet.

Set in eight acres of picturesque Warwickshire countryside, Ansty Hall is now the seventh country house hotel in the Exclusive Collection portfolio, extending the group’s presence further into the Midlands.

A comprehensive rebranding of the Exclusive Collection, carried out with BrandSensory®, helped connect the rich history of the house and the area with the present day. Ansty Hall’s interior honors the area’s heritage and local craftsmanship, reflecting its vibrant weaving and textile history and innovative automotive industry. Elements such as locally made art and ceramics, state-of-the-art in-room technology, regionally woven upholstery and historic red brick facades are seamlessly integrated into the hotel’s design. This thoughtful approach was realized by designers Russell Sage and Trevellion.

Steve Ogden, Chief Executive of Ansty Hall, said: “Just like its emblem, the Phoenix, represents, Ansty Hall has been reborn from the ashes with the Exclusive Collection.

“We are thrilled to open our doors and welcome guests to experience the perfect blend of elegance, history and innovation. From the meticulously restored Georgian architecture to the curated literature and art that adorns our halls, every detail has been thoughtfully designed to inspire and delight our guests. It is a privilege to be part of a property that not only offers accommodation also for an immersive trip in time, space and unparalleled hospitality.”

Lovers of art and literature will be fascinated by the hotel’s Henry Library, named after the writer Henry Cadwallader Adams, the property’s former owner. The library has a curated collection of his novels. In addition, the hotel’s color palette and interiors are inspired by Coventry’s historic ‘True Blue’ dye and the surrounding redstone countryside, subtly reflecting its unique location.

Aptly named Woven, the restaurant pays homage to Ansty’s historic ribbon weaving industry during Coventry’s cottage weaving boom. It combines local craftsmanship and art with stylish furnishings to create an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere.

Curated by chef Ryan Swift, Woven’s menu highlights classic British dishes with local flavors and unique twists. Afternoon tea is served in the elegantly decorated tea room and lounge. The High Chai experience offers a local twist to traditional tea. This includes a selection of Chai lattes alongside the expected range of teas, bringing local flavors into every aspect of the afternoon tea experience.

Adjacent to Ansty Hall is a charming church redesigned by Sir Gilbert Scott, the famous architect behind King’s Cross and St Pancras stations. The charming church and the surrounding area make the hotel an ideal wedding venue. Ansty Hall offers a variety of spaces for ceremonies, accommodating up to 160 guests both indoors and outdoors. Highlights include the Orangery, a stand-alone building with floor-to-ceiling windows and direct access to the grounds; The Cedar Room and Henry’s Library, overlooking the garden; and the Gilbert Scott Room overlooking the beautiful Warwickshire countryside.

At Ansty Hall, the small details really stand out. Curated literature and art are thoughtfully displayed throughout the property, and storytelling elements are woven seamlessly into the interior. Guests have to immerse themselves in a rich world of discoveries and nuances.
