London gamers, young and old, get those thumbs ready – because your help will soon be needed to complete an enormous game of Tetris. Ahead of the legendary video game’s 40th anniversary – it was invented all the way back in 1985! – London’s Outernet is launching an enormous multiplayer version of the game.
Starting next week, on Monday, October 28 at 12pmvisitors will be able to take part in the biggest multi-player game of Tetris ever. The huge game will play out across Outernet’s impressive screens – and will stretch to 4-storeys high. That’s FAR bigger than any game of Tetris would have been when the game first came out!
Playing the enormous Tetris
Anyone who visits Outernet while the experience is running will be able to join in the game. Audience members simply scan a QR code and then use their phones to control the game. In no time you’ll be navigating the game’s iconic Tetrominoes (that’s what the pieces are called) to clear lines and rack up points.
The enormous Tetris game can accommodate up to seven playersmeaning you’ll be working side by side with friends, family, and even strangers as you attempt to win the game. Just remember to work together and not get competitive!

These range from art pieces designed especially for the space to nature relaxation videos, live music performances, journeys into space, and more.
