Amazon shoppers are happy with a sunrise lamp they say improves their sleep quality. Originally £99, the Lumie Bodyclock Spark 100 is now £79 on the site.
You can also get it for £79 at Boots and £99 at Argos. The alarm clock simulates a 30-minute sunrise to wake you up naturally.
According to the brand, waking up with light instead of an alarm makes you feel “adequately rested and wide awake”. You can choose the final intensity of the sunrise, and there is snooze with pressure control.
The lamp also lets you unwind with a sunset that dims for 30 minutes. It mimics the colors of a real sunrise and sunset, and provides dimmable bedroom lighting.
The lamp has 4.5 stars at Boots and 4.4 stars at Argos. On Amazon it has 4.6 stars from 1,362 reviews. One person said: “Absolute game changer! I just wish I got this this fall! It’s so good, and don’t be put off by the odd review that says ‘complicated’ or whatever.

“Set the time you want to wake up and you won’t be disappointed. I don’t care about any alarms you wake up to a steady glow and finally enough light to light up your entire bedroom without needing a head lamp in the middle of winter I started using it during Christmas shift in retail where I got up at 3.30am, on day two I woke up in such a good mood.
Another wrote “An absolute miracle for someone who can’t get up in the mornings!” Of the negative reviews, one shopper wrote “Really not worth the amount of money it costs. Very cheap plastic watch. Doesn’t really do much and not easy to work. Would not recommend. Don’t waste your money.”
Alternatively, try the Philips SmartSleep, which costs £142.99 at Philips. The lamp combines sound and light to wake you up naturally and was voted “best sunrise clock to mimic the sun” by The Telegraph.
