A new interactive map shows all the pubs, bars and clubs open across London after 2am.

Smaller venues seem to be open into the early hours, many struggling to still recover from the Covid pandemic, while staying out will often mean paying more for expensive drinks and entry fees. That said, a handy interactive map from The Times shows exactly where you can find these places that are still open late.

Shoreditch is the second best part of London in this category, especially with venues open after 4am. Clapham High Street – home to Infernos, Cafe Sol and Two Brewers – is another area that boasts a good night-time economy.

Clapham is one of the most sought after locations for young professionals moving to London, whilst being on the Northern Line which has a night tube service at weekends.

Indeed, a Times examination of Google Maps data found that London has the worst nightlife of any major UK city. A shocking 5.9% of venues in the city are open after 2am on a Saturday night – putting it last out of 12 cities in England, Scotland and Wales.

For venues open after midnight, Edinburgh leads the way with 44.5 per cent still open. London ranks 10th out of 12 in this category, with a share of 23.8 per cent putting it just ahead of Leeds and Sheffield.
