Last weekend saw the Six Nations wrap up after six weeks of rugby action. Ireland ultimately walked away with the trophy for the second year in a row. But that doesn’t mean our chances are over just yet. This weekend, it’s time for the women to battle it out for the trophy as the Women’s Six Nations kicks off on Saturday, March 23.

The first weekend of the championship will see France and Ireland matching up, followed by a battle between Wales and Scotland. Sunday, March 24 will then see Italy and England going head to head to find a victor. And since we’re the reigning champions (for five years in a row!)you can bet it’s going to be an unmissable start to the tournament. Fancy catching all the action in a room full of rugby fans? Head to one of these brilliant spots to watch the Women’s Six Nations.

1. The George,Fitzrovia

If there’s one thing you can rely on at this luxurious-feeling boozer – it’s one of Britian’s best-looking pubs – it’s that they’ll be showing all the sporting action. And while many of London’s pubs seem happy to ignore the women’s Six Nations, The George is proudly showing ALL of the matches. And they’ll even be serving their special Guinness Six Nations Menu with snack platters, heaping cheeseburgers and fried chicken sandwiches, hefty pies, and plenty of Guinness.

📍 55 Great Portland Street, W1W 7LQ.

🚇 The nearest station is Oxford Street.

2. Cadogan Arms, Chelsea

As the sister pub to The George, it makes sense that the Cadogan Arms is also screening all of the action. They’ll also be serving up a special Six Nations menu, and big groups can even take advantage of the venue’s Rose Room. The dedicated event space has its own bar and four screens. You won’t miss a second of the action or a drop of your pint!

3. Beechwoord Sports Pub & Kitchen, Shoreditch

Beechwood makes a bold claim about their sports viewing sessions. They boast that they’re so passionate about sports, and get so invested in the action, that guests experience “an atmosphere that’s just as good as being there”. Which sounds pretty fantastic to us! Guests can rock up to enjoy all of the Women’s Six Nations match-ups. Add to that their Six Nations specials (did someone say Guinness Gravy Dip Burger? Yes, they did!), and a pint or three of Guinness, and you’ve got yourself a good time.

4. Long Arm Sports Pub & Brewery, Shoreditch

Want to know how seriously Greenwood takes their sports screening responsibilities? They have a tracker on their website with a seemingly never-ending list of fixtures that they’ll be showing. And, yes, they’ll be screening every second of the Women’s Six Nations games. That’s as well as the football, cricket, horse racing, darts, and more. Seriously – you name it, and they’re probably showing it!

8. Twickenham Stadium, Twickenham

Okay, so you can’t watch all of, or even most of, the women’s Six Nations action on the pitch at Twickenham. But there will be one special match-up on April 20 when England will ‘return to HQ’ to face off against Ireland. If you’ve secured a ticket already – or can pony up the big bucks for some of the remaining tickets – you’re in for a thrilling day of rugby!

📍 200 Whitton Road, Twickenham, TW2 7BA.

🚇 The nearest station is Twickenham

Disappointingly, not many pubs and bars around London seem to be gearing up to show the Women’s Six Nations this year – despite the Red Roses gearing up for their sixth championship win in a row. Hopefully, more venues around London will join in the action soon with more viewing parties for everyone to enjoy!
