Singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette has announced several UK dates as part of her UK 2025 world tour. The singer was just 21 when she rose to fame in the mid-1990s with her album Jagged Little Pill, which spawned the hits You Oughta Know, One Hand In My Pocket and Ironic.

To mark 30 years since the album’s release, Alanis will go on a world tour in 2025 in South America and Europe. She will perform her first UK date in Belfast on June 30 next year, followed by dates at Depot Live at Cardiff Castle on July 2, Lytham Festival at Lytham St Anne’s on July 4 and the Ovo Hydro in Glasgow on July 5.

Fans can purchase tickets in advance from Ticketmaster on Tuesday, October 22 at 09.00. Ticketmaster also lists Alanis as performing at the Latitude Festival in Suffolk on July 24, although the event has not yet been added to the tour list on her website. Gaps in tour dates also leave the possibility of an appearance at Glastonbury Festival from June 25 to 29 next year.

At a distance of 150 miles, Cardiff is the closest confirmed tour date to London, although it is possible that others will be added. Trains from London to Cardiff can be booked on Trainline, with one-way prices from £57.60 and return tickets from £98.80. You can Book buses on National Express or GoEuro. See accommodation options on Booking.com and Hotels.com.

Nick Saunders from DEPOT Live said: “Alanis Morissette has been an icon of music for more than 30 years so we’re absolutely delighted to welcome her to Cardiff Castle next summer. It’s going to be an incredible show and one we’re anticipating us will be very popular so we recommend that you secure your ticket as soon as possible.

“The announcement is the latest reveal for the summer of 2025 which will also see Elbow, Sting and The Script all headline the iconic Welsh venue with more announcements to come.”

Alanis Morissette will play in Belfast on 30 June 2025, at Depot Live at Cardiff Castle on 2 July 2025, Lytham Festival at Lytham St Anne’s on 4 July 2025 and the Ovo Hydro in Glasgow on 5 July 2025. See Ticketmaster for advance ticket sales at 9am October 22.
