Living in London is known to be expensive, but there is an affordable option where people can continue to live the exciting big city life for less.

Sovereign Network Group (SNG) offers spacious en-suite rooms in shared flats in Hill House, Hackney, which can be up to 20% cheaper than the private rental market.

The housing option can be a good stepping stone for those who are saving to buy their first home, but still want to live in the bustling capital.

Affordable accommodation in London

The rooms at Hill House apartments are fully furnished with a single bed, large desk and plenty of storage for belongings.

Each apartment has a well-designed kitchen equipped with modern appliances, and shared spaces include a dining area and a living area.

Residents can feel at ease knowing that electricity, water and council tax bills are included in the monthly rent.

Even tasks like laundry and cleaning couldn’t be easier, with its on-site laundry, weekly professional cleaners to maintain shared spaces and free handyman service to resolve repairs quickly.

By renting from SNG, residents can ensure that the condominium association is proud of the homes it manages. Operating across London and southern England, the aim is to provide good, affordable homes: “the foundation of a better life, with a vision of thriving communities, across generations.”

Lives in a prime location in London

SNG’s Hill House shared apartments are located in trendy and highly sought after Hackney.

This East London neighborhood was a former industrial quarter that has now developed into a community of creatives, with a range of cool cafes, lively markets and stunning parks.

Lea Valley Walk, Springfield Park and Victoria Park are just some of the nearby green spaces. These are great for activities, offering an ice rink, golf center and bird sanctuary. Other local parks have boating lakes, tennis courts and horseback riding for public rental.

Arts and culture abound in Hackney, with contemporary galleries showcasing eclectic art and venues such as the Hackney Empire, Arcola and Hackney Picturehouse a stage for comedy, experimental theater and major Hollywood films.

You can also immerse yourself in Hackney’s bustling high streets and enjoy the colorful graffiti art, serenades and aromas of street food. There’s an exciting cafe culture to embrace, with some cafes serving as vegan food markets, bike repair shops and record stores, and others staying open late for poetry readings, board games and band jam sessions.

Hackney’s history as London’s industrial hub is reflected in its unique and eclectic nightlife, including trendy bars hidden beneath giant murals, metal dive bars hidden on the side of warehouses and a host of breweries for beer lovers to explore.

It is important that the area has good communications with several bus and ground connections. Homerton, Hackney Downs and Clapton stations are within walking distance, and city workers can easily commute to Liverpool Street in just 10 minutes.
