Wyatt Earp and the Cowboy War is Netflix’s newest historical documentary series, with a cast portraying a wide variety of historical figures involved in one of the most famous western gunfights of all time.
The six-episode TV series explores the feud between Marshal Wyatt Earp and the Cowboy Gang in Tombstone, Arizona, which ultimately leads to the deadly shootout at the OK Corral, media frenzy and revenge.
Wyatt Earp and the Cowboy War premieres on Netflix on August 21.

Ed Harris – Narrator
Longtime actor and four-time Oscar nominee Ed Harris serves as the narrator Wyatt Earp and the Cowboy War where he guides the audience through the events of this historical narrative and its cultural, historical and even political implications.
Ed Harris is known for his work Abyss, A history of violence, Apollo 13and HBO’s Westworld.
Tim Fellingham – Wyatt Earp
Australian actor Tim Fellingham plays Old West icon and serial star Deputy Marshal Wyatt Earp, whose story doesn’t end at OKCorral. Later, he goes on a quest for revenge after losing his brother Virgil.
Tim Fellingham is known Final destination 5, Madameand Pretty legit. He also wrote and directed the 2016 short film, Blackbird.
Edward Franklin – Doc Holliday
Another Old West, Doc Holliday, is played by actor Edward Franklin. Holliday was not only a close friend of Wyatt Earp and directly involved in the firefight, but he was also a dentist.
Edward Franklin previously appeared in the film The Brain Hack, Doctor Thorneand Vikings: Valhalla.
Jack Gordon – Ike Clanton
Cowboys gang member Ike Clanton was present at the shootout with the Earp brothers and Doc Holliday in Tombstone; but he was presumably unarmed and fled the battle.
After indicting the Earps and Holliday for his brother’s murder, he later became involved in an assassination attempt against Virgil Earp.

Peter O’Meara – JP Morgan
A band of brothers star Peter O’Meara plays American industrialist JP Morgan, who became involved in the drama surrounding the Tombstone shooting when it became a national story and affected his business.
Besides HBO A band of brothersO’Meara’s credits consist of Alias, NCIS, Knightfalland The Titans That Built America where he first played JP Morgan.
Christian MacKay – Chester A. Arthur
The 21st President of the United States is also included Wyatt Earp and the Cowboy War played by Christian MacKay. The president’s historic involvement was due to the Tombstone media frenzy and its political implications.
English actor Christian MacKay does not play historical figures. In addition to his credits Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and The theory of everythingthe actor played President Franklin Delano Roosevelt FDR and Orson Welles along Me and Orson Welles.
Christina Leonardi – Josephine Marcus
Josephine Marcus was Wyatt Earp’s mother-in-law, whom he met in Tombstone, Arizona.
Christina Leonardi plays Josephine in episodes 2-6 Wyatt Earp and the Cowboy War. His past values vary Law and Order: Organized Crime, Titans: The Rise of Hollywood Thu Kat combination.
Ariel Eliaz – Virgil Earp
Another key player in the showdown at the OK Corral, actor Ariel Eliaz stars as Virgil Earp, a deputy US marshal who leads his brother and Doc Holliday into a historic shootout with the cattle rustling Cowboys. Although he survives, he is later ambushed and maimed in retaliation by an outlaw gang.
Ariel Eliaz is best known Hunting, Snowfalland appeared recently Elect.
Shane Penhale – Morgan Earp
Rounding out the trio of Earp brothers, Morgan Earp, played by up-and-coming actor Shane Penhale, was also a law enforcement officer who served Tombstone and was involved in the shootout at the OK Corral. He was later killed in an ambush, leading to Wyatt Earp’s hunt for revenge.

Alex Price – Sheriff Behan
During the shootout in Tombstone, Arizona, Cochise County Sheriff John Behan testified against the Earps and had previously been romantically involved with Josephine Marcus, Wyatt Earp’s love interest.
Sheriff Behan is played by Alex Price.
Matthew Steer – Thomas Fitch
English actor Matthew Steer plays Thomas Fitch Wyatt Earp and the Cowboy Wara lawyer who successfully defended the Earp brothers and Doc Holliday after they were accused of murder.

Michael Swatton – Prince of Wales
The British Prince of Wales at the time of the 1881 Cowboy Fight was Edward VII, son of Queen Victoria, who later became King of the United Kingdom in 1901.

Adam Segallar – Lord Rothschild
Another powerful character on Netflix Wyatt Earp series is Lord Rothschild (aka Nathaniel Mayer Rothschild), a British banker, politician and member of the wealthy Rothschild family.
Lord Rothschild is played by British-American writer and actor Adam Segallar, known for historical roles such as Andrew Carnegie The Men Who Built AmericaJohn Charles Fremont in The Men Who Built America: Frontiersmenand JP Morgan in Titans: The Rise of Wall Street.
Dylan Stav – Billy Clanton
One of the Cowboy’s outlaws, Billy Clanton, was one of three gang members killed in Tombstone in a shootout at the OK Corral. From Dylan Stav Fear your neighbor and Secret to death plays the serial troublemaker.
Ryan Giesen – Ben Goodrich
Ben Goodrich helped prosecute the Earps and Doc Holliday after Ike Clanton brought the murder charges. He has played Wyatt Earp and the Cowboy War Author: Ryan Giesen What lies beneath and Daughter of the Sun.
Jack Leslie Hunter – Frank McLaury
Outlaw Frank McLaury, who often threatened the Earps and was later killed in a shooting. Secret to deathJack Leslie Hunter.
Tom Finn – Tom McLaury
Tom McLaury, another member of the Cowboys gang and Frank McLaury’s brother, was also killed in the shooting. He has starred in actor Tom Finn’s Netflix documentaries.
John Sainsbury – Curly Bill
After the firefight at the OK Corral, outlaw Cowboy Curly Bill (aka William Brocius) was one of the men who ambushed and murdered Morgan Earp, leading to another shootout with Wyatt Earp in 1882. He is played by John Sainsbury.
Michael Masurkevitch – HF Sills
Canadian actor and screenwriter Michael Masurkevitch Snow Blinded and Pirate Mike portrays HF Sills, an important witness at the OK Corral hearing.
Leo Hynes – Young Wyatt Earp
The younger version of Wyatt Earp is played by acting newcomer Leo Hynes, who appeared before Competitors.
Fred May – Old Wyatt Earp
The third actor to play Wyatt Earp in the Netflix series is Fred May, the director of 2012. The Adventures of Whitey and Smokey.
