Rock legends AC/DC have just announced a new European tour, their first in eight years. The band will play 21 dates across the continent this summer, including two in London.

The ‘POWER UP’ tour will make a stop at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday 3rd July and Sunday 7th July. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 16 at 10am – you’ll be able to get them from Ticketmaster and Live Nation.

The group revealed the news on social media with a post titled: “We are proud to finally announce the ‘POWER UP’ European Tour. Angus, Brian, Stevie and Matt will be joined by Chris Chaney to carry the torch for Cliff.

“The tour will see us play shows in Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, England, Slovakia, Belgium, France and Ireland this summer. We can’t wait to see you all out there.”

And fans were quick to share their thoughts. One user wrote in all caps and three exclamation points: “Hell yeah, we are ready!”

“Welcome back!”, another commented, while a third said – also in caps: “Yes yes yes I’m so ready for this tour thank you.”

AC/DC is one of the most influential rock bands in history, with over 200 million albums sold worldwide. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the early 2000s and their “Back In Black” LP has been named the “best-selling album by any band ever”.

Wembley Stadium is located on South Way, London HA9 0WS. Tickets for the shows are available from Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
